From Mahatma Gandhi, to L.A. Kauffmann or Martin Luther King, great thinkers have pointed out that protests are essential in a healthy democracy.
That’s why a while back, at Ecosia, we introduced a climate protest policy, whereby any employee is free to engage in climate activism during weekdays, without having to take any time off or call in sick to do so.
But do climate protests actually have an impact? In episode 4 of Climate Brief, a new series on Ecosia’s YouTube channel, we looked into three of the most recent climate movements that have scored great successes in the struggle for climate justice.
