This tree update is out of the ordinary: I’m not sitting in a tree in Ethiopia. I’m not sailing Peru’s rivers or addressing Ugandan pupils.
This time around, I stayed home. My daughter, Madelien, was born – an experience no less adventurous than the Burkinabe desert or the Tanzanian rainforest.
