Droughts. Wildfires. Floods. Famines. We realize this is only the beginning. As world leaders take to New York City Tuesday for the first climate talks since 2009’s failed Copenhagen summit, we take to the streets.
Join Ecosia along with hundreds of thousands of advocates around the world this Sunday, September 21st for the largest global climate demonstration to date – the People’s Climate March.
Next week’s summit will see UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon bring heads of state, finance, business and non-profit organizations together in New York to “strengthen climate resilience” and “mobilize political will for a meaningful political agreement” in the lead-up to the negotiating table at Paris 2015.
Let’s show world leaders that action against climate change begins and ends with real people in the real world calling for real change. Join us in Berlin or at one of thousands of local demonstrations around the globe to show your support.
In Berlin, you’ll be able to meet members of the Ecosia team, including our beloved Ambassadors, pick up flyers, march together and learn more about being the change we hope to see in the world.
When: Sunday, September 21, 2014 at 2 p.m.
Where: Neptunbrunnen (look for Ecosia signs at Alexanderplatz)
Looking forward to marching together – whether in person, or in spirit.
Your (excited) Ecosia Team
