Fred, a student at the University of Sussex, has started an unconventional tree-planting movement with his friends Amber and Erin.
They started by encouraging their friends to use Ecosia to plant trees. But soon their ambitions grew. Their current goal is to convince all UK universities to make Ecosia their default search engine.
And it's working. Their own uni, Sussex University, has already made Ecosia the default search engine across all student PCs. And students from the University of Manchester, the University of Kent and Newcastle University have started to campaign in their turn.
We love that Ecosia users like Fred are changing the world by starting their own tree-planting awareness campaigns.
Will you, too?
