From Mahatma Gandhi, to L.A. Kauffmann or Martin Luther King, great thinkers have pointed out that protests are essential in a healthy democracy.
That’s why a while back, at Ecosia, we introduced a climate protest policy, whereby any employee is free to engage in climate activism during weekdays, without having to take any time off or call in sick to do so.
