For the first time in over a year and after following many safety precautions, the tree team has been able to visit your tree-planting projects in person. In this episode, I come to you from Tanzania, taking you from arid landscapes where our partners are already experiencing the challenges of climate change to the misty highlands where your searches are helping protect wildlife.
Planting trees in the right way here looks different at each site. In this video, learn about the technique our partners use called Farmer Managed Natural Regeneration (FMNR) and see what it takes to keep your trees growing in some of the world’s harshest conditions.
My team member Katherina has also been visiting our partner FOGA in Sudan. I also share her insights of how growing the Acacia tree is giving rural women the chance to also grow their income.
