Welcome to our twenty-third tree update, this time from Burkina Faso, where I went with Christian, Ecosia’s founder.
In this episode I will show you how our partners here are planning to restore an impressive 8000 hectares of desertified land.
You will also see an update on your trees in Tanzania, many of which were not planted as seedlings, but rather brought back to life through a technique called ‘Farmer Managed Natural Regeneration’. Watch this episode to learn more about how our partners at the LEAD foundation are using FMNR to restore farmers’ lands.
Finally, I am very happy that in this episode we can already show you the first tree planting activities of two of our latest projects in Côte d’Ivoire and India.
