In this episode, which we recorded at our 50 million trees event, I’d like to announce a new Colombian reforestation project. It is based in a region that was until recently under the influence of guerrilla groups – and it proves that trees and peace can be intimately connected.
Our reforestation project in Burkina Faso has had its best year yet and is now expanding into Mali. Together with our partner Hommes et Terre, we consulted a specialist in restorative agriculture to help us further improve our planting technique in this dry area of the world.
We are planting 1.2 million trees in Peru, making it the largest reforestation project in the region, and I’d like to tell you why that matters.
