You might have noticed. Many, if not most, of the pictures we share from Ecosia’s tree nurseries have one thing in common: tree saplings growing in plastic tubes or bags.
Plastic is a sturdy and very practical resource. But knowing what it does to the environment, can we find any alternatives for our tree-planting projects?
That’s what we asked YouTuber Odeke Daniel to find out in Uganda, where our partner organization Trees4Humanity is looking for an alternative to plastic tubes for their tree nurseries.
